Oldies but goodies

Heres another eye candy from the old days This one was done about a year and a half ago.

So this one I started working on today. Its a W.I.P.
(Work In Progress) just like my Buddha. I have some more details to add as well as thinking up of some color schemes. I may want to do some blue, The girl originally has dirty blond hair but I need to add more shadow lines and some more hair lines to make it stand out I may individualize the hair stands by groups. SO Lets see how this turns out. I cant believe I took half an hour playing with this image and I'm still not happy. This is probably because the image is not a high quality one., and the pixels make it hard to see the detail. I just enjoy the look of the original picture, its sassy as well as playful. Not seductive yet its teasing you. Fun picture to work with. I just wish people start buying better cameras and taking better quality pictures. It helps.

Attack of the Killa Tofu!

For of you who don't know this is where the name comes from. Attack of Da Killah Tofu!
I made this last year. I only had one student (because of the snow storm) and all we did was draw and I came up with this idea.Its crayons and markers...and no its not one of those fancy markers its those elementary markers that suck and those crayola crayons. BAM ...I know I know.
Its cool. anyway, this one is way better
than the digital one. which a few posting below.

Saxy???

Okay so I wanted to do something sexy, tempting and something new from what I originally draw.
Which is faces and kid stuff. SO I surfed the web for images I wanted something tastefull and not tasteless, so no porn or softcore porn. I did find a site called jappydolls. Its pretty much Japanese women in bikinis. They are considered Idol models, and it seems that men drool for these in Japan. I did bump into this image of this girl and thought yeah why not. The font I used is a Japanese like one so it doesn't in reality spell anything in Japanese. I just spelled sexy(in English) and used the Japanese font.
Anyway. I wanted her to temp you to find out more about her, but no I made no more images of her photos(aside from this one). So that is all you will get from her.

De Leon

So this is a friend of my with the same Name Raquel. I'm usually in search for a cool looking photo I want to do this illustration style to.
I also never ask for permission but when they see the end results they are usually happy.
Well I figured I give her some finesse and edge, she is edgy and classy. I figured these 2 kinds of attitude must make a heart breaker. So it says a lot.

Buddha Delight!

Okay so for some reason I felt like I wanted to draw Buddha! Well more like I saw one of my students with a shirt that had Buddha on it and she had no idea who it was. I don't think she bought or even cared what the shirt said. Anyway
, I couldn't get Buddha out my head so I decided to draw him. I saw a version at a Vietnamese restaurant which had him carrying to jars and seemed happy and angry at the same time, which is an oxymoron I think. Well especially for Buddha I Wanted my version to have such a similar creepy feel(yeah that was creepy for me) I wanted him to look sinister and caring at the same time, but with a look that says don't F*@% with me. It still in works I plan on painting his gear yellow. You will soon see more of this coming up soon.
